The 18th Rights and Resources Initiative (RRI) Dialogue on Forests, Governance and Climate Change will take place on 26 October 2015 at The Newseum, Washington D.C, US. This dialogue will explore the implications of key 2015 developments in climate change policy and financing for the rights of Indigenous Peoples and local communities. The Dialogue will provide a platform for taking stock of this climate policy and financing developments and identifying priority steps forward to ensure that the rights of Indigenous Peoples and other local communities are enhanced and safeguarded.

The RRI is a global coalition of 13 core Partners and more than 150 Collaborator organizations engaged in forest and land policy reform in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
