BAHAMAS:

Having ratified the Convention, the Bahamas recently established an environment ministry and stated its desire to turn its territory into a sustainable development zone. The Bahamas also conducted one of the first country studies and, in consultation with UNEP, hopes to establish new guidelines for implementing the Convention.
