GERMANY:

Having recently ratified the Convention, Germany has created a new federal agency for nature conservation. Germany is ready to provide new and additional resources to the GEF as well as to commit DM 5 million to assist developing countries in promptly implementing the Convention. Germany looked to other developed countries to demonstrate this kind of cooperation.
