The Warsaw Climate Change Conference - November 2013 will take place from 11 to 22 November 2013 in Warsaw, Poland. The Warsaw Climate Change Conference will take place from 11 to 22 November 2013 in Warsaw, Poland. The conference includes the 19th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 19) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and the 9th session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties (CMP 9) to the Kyoto Protocol. The 39th sessions of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) and Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA 39) will also meet, along with the third part of the second session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action (ADP 2-3).
A number of side events will convene in parallel with the Warsaw Climate Change Conference addressing a wide range of issues, including: adaptation, agriculture, biodiversity, capacity building, carbon capture and storage, clean development mechanism/joint implementation, commitments, development, disaster risk reduction, energy efficiency, emissions trading system, carbon market, finance, forestry issues, gender and climate change, green jobs, humanitarian, indigenous, international transaction log, least developed country matters, land use, land-use change and forestry, mitigation, national communications, observation and prediction, public awareness-raising, reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation, science, sectoral approaches, shared Vision, supporting global, regional and national action, technology, transport, bunkers, aviation, water, and youth.
