CMS COP 12 The 12th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Migratory Species of Wild Animals will convene from 23-28 October 2017, in Manila, Philippines, under the theme “Their Future is Our Future – Sustainable Development for Wildlife & People.”

Over 50 side events will be held during the meeting. Side events are an excellent opportunity for a wide range of organizations, from governments and international organizations, to civil society and private sector organizations, to highlight an array of important migratory species issues. These events provide a platform for information dissemination, capacity building, policy discussions and legitimizing global governance.

IISD Reporting Services, through its Earth Negotiations Bulletin on the Side (ENBOTS) Meeting Coverage, is providing daily web coverage from selected side events at CMS COP12.
