Delegates to the the International Conference on Green Industry in Asia met in four technical sessions to discuss: the state of industrial resource efficiency in Asia; new opportunities in Asia; reducing the resource intensity of industrial processes; and moving to low-carbon industrial processes.

In the morning, delegates to the International Conference on Green Industry in Asia met to discuss the state of industrial resource efficiency and new opportunities in Asia. In the afternoon, delegates met in two parallel sessions to discuss issues related to resource efficiency and cleaner production.

The International Conference on Green Industry in Asia opened on Wednesday in Manila, the Philippines. In the morning, delegates heard opening statements, and met in a High-Level Segment to adopt the Manila Declaration. In the afternoon, delegates continued their discussions in two moderated High-Level Panels.
