Highlights for Wednesday, 19 June 2002 

On Wedensday, participants embarked on working excursions to view and experience the current projects and initiatives on sustainable agriculture in the Swiss Mountain region surrounding Adelboden. One of the excursions took the participants to Entlebuch, a UNESCO designated Biosphere reserve. The full day excursion hosted by REGIO+ included visits to core protected areas and farms in the Entlebuch Biosphere reserve. Above photos L-R: Participants being oriented on the Entlebuch landscape, Engelbert Ross, Scientific Director of the Entlebuch UNESCO Biosphere reserve (center) gave the orientation and acted as the guide of the reserve.
