Participants then delivered general statements, highlighting concerns related to the performance of Regional Fisheries Management Organizations (RFMOs), illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing, flag state responsibilities, climate change impacts, and data gaps.
In the afternoon, participants continued general statements and heard presentations on the report of the twelfth Informal Consultations of States Parties (ICSP) (ICSP12/UNFSA/INF.3) and the status of the Assistance Fund (A/CONF.210/2016/2).
