Highlights from Friday, 15 December |
On Friday, 15 December, the United Nations Forum on Forests (UNFF) open-ended ad hoc expert group (AHEG) on the consideration of the content of the non-legally binding instrument (NLBI) on all types of forests concluded its work at UN Headquarters in New York. Delegates completed a first reading of the draft composite text of the NLBI, focusing on, inter alia, monitoring, assessment and reporting, adoption/subscription, and working modalities. Delegates adopted the meeting report, and Chair Hoogeveen gaveled the meeting to a close at 4:43 pm.
