The eighth round of informal consultations on the UN Fish Stocks Agreement met for the third day on Wednesday. In the morning plenary, Moderator Morishita presented a summary of the continuing dialogue held Monday and Tuesday. Delegates then began consideration of the preparations for the resumed Review Conference and the next informal consultations, both scheduled for 2010. Following general debate on the substance of both meetings and procedural issues for the resumed Review Conference, elaboration on the timeline, organization of work and agenda for these meetings were deferred to an open-ended drafting group that met throughout the afternoon.
