Presentation after presentation at the UNCCD 2nd Scientific Conference revealed the extent of existing research and implementation experience with regenerating degraded land and developing best practices in the drylands.

COP 10 participants worked to reconcile high ambitions for their outcomes in a time of financial constraints, and found their decisions represented progress even though many aspirations remained unfulfilled.

Leaders also shared share their vision for Stockholm+100.

Participants reflected on the role of rights-based approaches and international partnerships in fostering inclusive climate governance at the national and sub-national levels in Africa.

Sessions focused on key learning on how the Asia-Pacific region can bounce back from the COVID-19 pandemic alongside the impacts of climate-related disasters.
