KENYA:

The representative of Kenya said that human settlements have worsened in the world despite spirited efforts by governments and the international community to reverse the trend. Increasing population growth and accelerated urbanization have further complicated the situation, and massive resources will be needed to have a positive impact in arresting the deteriorating state of human settlements, particularly in the developing world.
