THE INTERNATIONAL RURAL HOUSING ASSOCIATION:

The representative of this NGO made suggestions on the preparation of the Conference that involved three main points: the continuing importance of rural housing and settlement programmes; the elaboration of innovative systems and programmes for extension of credit to rural communities; and the development of an exposition component for Habitat II that will facilitate information exchange.
