The Third Session of the International Conference on Chemicals Management (ICCM3) is being convened from 17-21 September 2012 in Nairobi, Kenya. The meeting will:

review progress in implementing the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM);

address emerging policy issues, including lead in paint, chemicals in products, hazardous substances within the life cycle of electrical and electronic products and nanotechnologies and manufactured nanomaterials;

consider new activities for the Global Plan; and

review the future of financing SAICM implementation after the expiration of the Quick Start Programme (QSP).
