Organized by the Ministry of Environment of Chile and the Climate & Clean Air Coalition to Reduce Short-Lived Climate Pollutants (CCAC), the 20th session of the CCAC Working Group will take place from 26-27 April 2017 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Santiago, in Santiago de Chile, Chile.

The Working Group will consider, among others: preparations for the next CCAC High Level Assembly taking place in late 2017; scaling up of CCAC initiatives; follow-up to the Marrakech Communique; and new funding proposals.

Immediately preceding the Working Group meeting, a Science-Policy Dialogue will be held on 25 April, with a focus on metrics for black carbon and other pollutants, black carbon inventories, and how to include short-lived climate pollutants in countries’ nationally determined contributions (NDCs) under the Paris Agreement. Site visits will take place on 28 April.
