On Sunday, 3 April 2011, a pre-sessional workshop on assumptions and conditions related to the attainment of quantified economy-wide emission reduction targets by developed country parties convened in Bangkok, Thailand. The workshop was organized into four sessions, each with formal presentations by parties followed by question and answer periods. The workshop concluded with a discussion on targets, assumptions and conditions, as well as the way forward. A number of parties presented on, and clarified questions related to, the assumptions and conditions underlying their emission reductions pledges.
