Highlights from Friday, 25 May

On Friday, the closing plenaries of the SBI and SBSTA convened. The ADP convened in the morning and adopted the agenda. The meeting was then suspended to allow regional groups to consult further on the election of officers to the ADP Bureau. The nominations were finalized and the ADP reconvened in the afternoon and elected Jayant Moreshwar Mauskar, India (Asia-Pacific), and Harold Dovland, Norway (WEOG), as Co–Chairs and Oleg Shamanov, Russian Federation (Eastern Europe), as Rapporteur for 2012-2013. The ADP wrapped up it plenary at 8:21 pm. The SBI plenary then briefly reconvened to hear closing statements and adjourned at 9:26 pm.
