On Wednesday, delegates to the 3rd World Water Forum
(3WWF) continued to meet in numerous sessions on the Issues,
Topics, Major Groups, and Regional Day. In Kyoto, participants
heard the closing of Water and Governance, and Floods and
the opening of Agriculture, Food and Water, and Water and
Poverty. In Osaka, Water and Cities, Water and Information,
and Groundwater closed, as did the dialogue on Public Private
Partnership. The Regional Day was on the Americas.
The Senior Official's Meeting of the Ministerial Conference
opened with a plenary in the morning, and continued throughout
the day in a closed session to discuss the draft Ministerial
Declaration and other inputs for the Ministerial Conference
beginning on Saturday, 21 March.
