Panel on sustainable land use management |

Ramón Cardoza Vazquez, Mexico, said that his country has integrated sustainable land management (SLM) with poverty eradication and development programmes. |
Uladzimir Sauchanka, Belarus, noted that 21% of his country's territory remains unusable due to the Chernobyl nuclear accident, with 1.3 million people living in partially-contaminated lands. |
