Summary
On Wednesday, the forty-fourth meeting of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC-44) continued. In the morning, the IPCC discussed: the expert meeting on Mitigation, Sustainability and Climate Stabilization Scenarios; the future of the Task Group on Data and Scenario Support for Impact and Climate Analysis (TGICA); and communications for the Sixth Assessment Report (AR6).
In the afternoon, IPCC-44 took up the IPCC Scholarship Programme and continued discussion on the special report on the impacts of global warming of 1.5°C above preindustrial levels and related global greenhouse gas emission pathways, in the context of strengthening the global response to the threat of climate change, sustainable development, and efforts to eradicate poverty.
IISD Reporting Services, through its ENB Meeting Coverage, is providing digital coverage and a summary and analysis report from IPCC-44 that is available in HTML and PDF.
