The Conference will also encourage the creation of marine protected areas (MPAs) and share best practices from coastal communities on protecting and managing their coasts. Over 400 political, academic and civil society figures, including the US Secretary of State and Prince Albert of Monaco, are expected to participate in the Conference. The Government of Chile and US Department of State are organizing the conference in collaboration with other partners. |
