On Tuesday morning, OEWG 33 delegates heard, inter alia: a report from the Secretariat of the Multilateral Fund (MLF) on progress made in reducing emissions of controlled substances from process agent uses; and the TEAP's report on its review of its operating procedures, including its processes for nominating experts, guidelines for disclosures of interests and conflicts of interest.

Delegates also discussed: membership of the TEAP and Technical Options Committee (TOC); the terms of reference for the study of the 2015-2017 MLF replenishment; and a draft decision submitted by Canada, Mexico, Morocco and Switzerland on proposals related to information on ODS alternatives, the transition from ODS, and additional funding for maximizing the climate benefit of accelerated phase-out of HCFCs.

During the lunch break, the Secretariat hosted a side event on "Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Opportunities to integrate Ozone Layer Protection" and informal groups met on several issues.

In the afternoon, delegates held lengthy procedural discussions on the two proposed amendments to the Montreal Protocol, submitted by the US, Canada and Mexico and by the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), Morocco and the Maldives.

In the evening, a contact group met to discuss the Terms of Reference for the study on the MLF Replenishment.
