Side Event on The Future Role of the
NAMA Facility in Unlocking Finance for Ambitious Mitigation Actions

The NAMA Facility is hosting a side event at COP23, titled “The Future Role of the NAMA Facility in Unlocking Finance for Ambitious Mitigation Actions.” The event will take place on Monday, 13 November, from 09:30-11:00, at the European Pavilion (Bonn Zone, Room Tallinn). The NAMA Facility is a joint initiative of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB), Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) of the United Kingdom, the Danish Ministry of Energy, Utilities and Climate (EFKM) and the European Commission to support the implementation of ambitious and transformational National Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs) in developing countries and emerging economies. At the side event, participants will: receive an update on the NAMA Facility’s developments and commitments; find out about upcoming opportunities to engage with the NAMA Facility; and engage and link up with the NAMA Facility Community. |
