BIRD WATCHING:

More than 400 species of birds have been spotted in the surroundings of Paramaribo. The tour started in the Cultuurtuin, Suriname's Botanical Gardens  accompanied by famous bird expert Otte Ortema. The group then proceeded to the mudflats at Weg naar Zee and saw migratory shore birds, Scarlet Ibeses and the elusive Rufous Crab Hawk.
