Participants from Civil Society Organizations (CSO) at the close of the CSO Open Dialogue


UNCCDUNCCD COP 12 participants convened in the CST during the morning and afternoon. CST participants discussed IPBES’ ongoing global land degradation and restoration assessment, the SKBP, the roster of experts, and other topics. An afternoon plenary dialogue with CSOs focused on the theme, “Demystifying LDN with CSO Contributions.” Contact groups also met to discuss draft decisions related to the COP, CRIC and CST agendas, with a view to completing the CST and CRIC’s work on Friday, 16 October.
