On 7th November 2016, the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) and the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security organized an event on “Improving MRV for Agricultural Emission Reductions in the Livestock Sector.” This event was convened to share experiences from countries like Uruguay, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Brazil and Ethiopia on how to measure progress on reducing livestock emissions through improved emissions factors, activity data and institutional coordination.
