This video highlights innovative approaches to the challenge of climate change: a new process for making semiconductors that could drive down production costs; fine tuning the structure of specific materials to improve capture of carbon dioxide; and large-scale data modeling to inform renewable energy plans for the Red Sea. The researchers are faculty at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology and the side event was organized by the Gulf Cooperation Council.
