Flag installation at the COP 21 venue in Le Bourget, Paris, France

The Rio Conventions Pavilion (RCP), is hosted by the Secretariats of the Rio Conventions and the Global Environment Facility (GEF), and will take place from 30 November - 11 December 2015, in Paris, France. The event will convene in parallel with twenty-first session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC COP21). The RCP is a platform for raising awareness and sharing information about the latest practices and scientific findings linking biodiversity, climate change, and sustainable land management. Each day will focus on a different theme relevant to climate change, sustainable land management, and biodiversity in the context of sustainable development. These themes include: land’s role in climate change mitigation; biodiversity’s role in combating climate change; climate change’s impact on our oceans; business’s role in addressing climate change; forests’ potential in climate change mitigation; and, gender-sensitive approaches in adaptation and mitigation efforts.

IISD Reporting Services, through its ENB+ Meeting Coverage, has provided daily web coverage, daily reports and a summary report from the Rio Conventions Pavilion (RCP). Our summary report is available in HTML or PDF format.
