Contact Groups and Informals in Bonn
Contact groups and informal consultations were held throughout Wednesday on a variety of issues, including: the Adaptation Fund; budget for 2008-2009; education, training and public awareness; IPCC guidelines on national greenhouse gas inventories; privileges and immunities; research and systematic observation; reducing emissions from deforestation; small-scale afforestation and reforestation; and technology transfer.

Contact Groups
|
Neeta Hooda, Secretariat, Grant Kirkman, Secretariat, and co-chairs Satoshi Akahori, Japan, and Thelma Krug, Brazil, in the contact group on implications of possible changes to the limit for small-scale afforestation and reforestation CDM project activities.
|
Ermira Fida, Albania, and Sergio Castellari, Italy, co-chaired the contact group on research and systematic observation.
|
Paul Watkinson, France, chaired the contact group on privileges and immunities for individuals serving on constituted bodies established under the Kyoto Protocol.
|
Harald Dovland, Norway, chaired the contact group on the programme budget for the biennium 2008-2009.
|
Ositadinma Anaedu, Nigeria, chaired the Kyoto Protocol financial mechanism contact group on the adaptation fund. Maria Netto, Secretariat, is on right.
