Highlights for Thursday, 22 October 2009
Thursday at XIII WFC was marked by bustling participants darting to the 23 parallel sessions, two plenaries, and an all day forum on investment and finance. In addition, Jorge Rodríguez, Minister of the Environment, Energy and Telecommunications of Costa Rica, was recognized by the FAO for the efforts to combat deforestation and increase forest cover through a PES program.
