Work progressed at the 64th session of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) on Thursday. Among other issues, the Panel considered ways forward on one of the most challenging issues of the seventh assessment cycle: the timeline for production, review and approval of the reports that will make up the Seventh Assessment Report.
The Panel also addressed agenda items including fundraising for the IPCC Trust Fund and the Task Group on Data Support for Climate Change Assessments.
The Panel will convene for the final day of its session on Friday.
As IPCC sessions are closed, ENB publishes pictures and brief highlights while the meetings are in progress. Our full summary and analysis of each IPCC meeting will be published after its conclusion.
