With the scheduled end of IPCC-58 looming, delegates worked intensively on Thursday to review and approve the proposed text of the Summary for Policymakers. As in previous days, delegates convened in plenary and contact groups to discuss the presentation of key findings, striving to ensure that the final version will be clear and useful for policymakers.

As significant work remains to be completed, the Panel added a fourth plenary session to the day’s schedule, stretching the workday to 2:00 am. Following the conclusion of the night session, delegates will reconvene in plenary on Friday morning.
