Consultations during the plenary

Authors consult each other before responding to comments from the floor.

On what was scheduled to be the last day of the 58th session of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, delegates continued to work in plenary, contact groups and huddles to review and approve the proposed text of the Summary for Policymakers of the synthesis of the Sixth Assessment Report. Delegates are approving this text line by line, with the aim of producing a clear and useful text for policymakers.

With significant work remaining late in the evening on Friday, delegates planned once again to convene a night session, scheduled to conclude at 2:00 am on Saturday morning. If substantial work remains at that point, delegates will reconvene at 6:00 am and continue their approval process.
