On Saturday the IPCC officially completed work on AR4, followed by an address in Plenary by the UN Secretary-General

The meeting offered its sympathies to Bangladesh for recent events.
The Chair thanked the UK delegation for supporting the AR4 TSU.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon addresses the plenary

Rajendra Pachauri, IPCC Chair welcomed Ban Ki-moon, UN Secretary-General, to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
Rajendra Pachauri presented Ban Ki-moon with the first copy of the Summary for Policymakers of the Synthesis Report. Ban Ki-moon addressed the Plenary.
The IPCC Vice-Chairs were thanked and invited to come to the podium.
