FfD3 The Co-Facilitators issued a new text on Friday morning at the third drafting session for the outcome document of the Third International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD3). After allowing time for coordination on the text, plenary opened at 4:26 pm.

Co-Facilitator George Talbot noted that the new text provided a basis to “close” an agreement. Co-Facilitator Geir Pederson said that while further work was needed, reaching an agreement was “absolutely doable.” He said the Co-Facilitators would meet with the co-co-facilitators (co-facilitators of the smaller facilitated groups) after the plenary adjourned, following which further meetings of co-facilitated groups would take place.

The session was extended to Saturday, 20 June.
