Topic Index of the UNFCCC COP-5 High Level Segment
Bonn, Germany; 2 - 4 November 1999


From 2 - 4 November 1999, ministers and heads of delegation at the Fifth Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change met in a high-level segment. During this high-level segment, 93 ministers and other heads of delegation presented policy statements on behalf of their respective countries. These policy statements outlined country perspectives on a range of important issues related to the ongoing negotiations on climate change. This topic index is based on key issues identified from the policy statements. The list is not intended to be exhaustive, but does reflect the main issues raised.
