The Bonn Climate Change Conference concluded on Thursday, 11 June. In the morning, three facilitated groups took place under the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action (ADP) on adaptation and loss and damage, transparency, and compliance and implementation. In the afternoon, the ADP contact group convened to discuss the Co-Chairs’ proposal on how to move forward, followed by a brief closing plenary. The ADP suspended its second session at 4:46pm.

In the morning, the closing plenary of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) took place, inter alia, adopting conclusions on response measures and on methodological considerations for REDD+, which forwarded draft decisions for consideration by COP 21/CMP 11. The SBSTA closed at 11:40am.

In the afternoon, the closing plenary of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) took place. The SBI adopted conclusions on, inter alia, matters relating to the mechanisms under the Kyoto Protocol, capacity building, Convention Article 6 (education, training and public awareness) and administrative, financial and institutional matters. The SBI agreed to forward draft decisions for consideration by COP 21/CMP 11 on matters relating to the least developed countries (LDCs), Convention Article 6 and the programme budget for the biennium 2016-2017. The SBI closed at 5:13pm.
